Brittany Pierdolla, LPC

Brittany Pierdolla obtained her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University – Kingsville in 2018 and completed practicum internship at a rural, family-focused agency where she provided counseling to couples, individuals, families, and children. She also provided individual, group, and crisis intervention services at a mental health authority where she worked in both outpatient and residential settings. When she is not seeing clients, Brittany works with veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to find and maintain housing.

Throughout her education and variety of treatment settings, Ms. Pierdolla has maintained a passion for working with couples and individuals experiencing relationship-related issues. She has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. The Gottman Method focuses on increasing closeness, effectively managing conflict, and creating shared meaning with your partner and has an abundance of research that supports its effectiveness. 

Ms. Pierdolla understands that every experience makes someone the unique individual (or couple) that they are today and uses an eclectic approach to tailor the counseling experience to the needs of the client. She utilizes client-centered, strengths-based, and Trauma-Informed Care practices as the foundations of her treatment modality. Her areas of focus and interest include: relationship issues, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, addiction, adult ADHD, depression, anxiety, career counseling, self-esteem, stress reduction, anger management, and premarital counseling.
