Amanda Sheehan-Crisp, LPC-Associate.
Life is challenging. Everyone could use some support from time to time. I strive to create a comfortable, safe, and non-judgmental environment to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals. I play a supporting role in your life, as you are the main character. I have been working within the “helping field” since 2009. My experiences have shown me that people can achieve great things with the proper support. Together, we will look at how your experiences have shaped the person you are and how to make small and practical changes to reach your goals.
In counseling, empowering clients is fundamental to leading to informative and lasting change. Counseling empowerment refers to equipping clients with the tools, knowledge, and confidence necessary to take control of their own lives positively. The goal of counseling for me is to have the client take ownership of their journey and work toward reaching their desired outcomes.
I am currently supervised by Robert K. Franklin, PhD, LPC-S.
